I interact with designers to develop unique concepts for the photo shoot, deeply understanding their style, materials and products. Together we establish the scenarios that combine their ideas. After this, I prepare the equipment, the lights and select the types of software needed to process the images. I use mirrorless cameras and equipment such as monopods or tripods, light shades and portable lights when shooting outdoors. However, in this field, a professional photographer understands that sometimes the camera can only be a secondary element compared to the make-up, outfit or lighting.

It is essential to remember that a photoshoot is not only about taking pictures, but also involves effective communication with models and dedicated team, along with outstanding organizational skills. As a model photographer, I recognize that many of them are young and beautiful, but sometimes shy, and my role is to inspire their confidence, creating an environment where they feel comfortable and relaxed to work. This is the only way we can get high-quality professional photos.

While not everyone is aware of the distinction between fashion and glamor photography, it is important to point out the differences. Fashion photography promotes a lifestyle, while glamor photography focuses on the model herself. There are three major types of fashion photography:

• Catalog photo, dedicated to information, where the wardrobe is presented clearly and everything is simple and elegant;
• Editorial photography, which captures the model in non-studio frames and emphasizes style;
• High-fashion photography, highly elaborate in terms of production, with extravagant wardrobe and a special focus on creating an impactful image.

Fashion photography often requires me to travel a lot, and my work schedule can sometimes be extremely demanding, even anti-social, I might say. However, the satisfaction I get is profound.

This field sometimes involves dealing with difficult weather conditions and working in locations that are not always comfortable. It is essential to be efficient and creative, quickly solving any challenge that may arise. As a professional model photographer, I build innovative castings and take alternative approaches to poses, lighting and locations to transform every scene and evoke emotion in every shot. I believe that talent and experience are essential, and my work is fully rewarded when I create images that reach the level of art. In the end, your personal style is defining, and it often confirms the idea that every detail matters significantly in this industry.
